Located in the heart of Salt Lake City within Liberty Park, Tracy Aviary is a gem of the Wasatch Front that has long remained a “hidden” local treasure. Opening in 1938, it is the oldest, largest, and one of only two free-standing aviaries in the United States; and the largest AZA-accredited aviary in the world.
Despite its stature and history, the Aviary lacked the regional cache and top-of-mind awareness enjoyed by Salt Lake’s zoo or aquarium. With expansion plans for a second nature center on the Jordan River and a renewed emphasis on conservation, we seized the opportunity to reorient their brand, refresh their creative, and launch new integrated marketing initiatives. The new brand story centers on the Aviary’s two most vital elements: the birds and the botanical nature they inhabit. Utilizing a visual language that pairs our story’s hero, the birds, with an immersive nature pattern and dynamic typography, we helped Tracy Aviary grow attendance and membership while creating a modern, cohesive brand experience.
With two decades developing results-based creative, our team has many more case studies and project experiences than we can show here. We’d love the opportunity to show more and talk about your specific goals.
