Rising & Falling: Telling the story of the Great Salt Lake.
We partnered with the Utah Department of Natural Resources to produce a full-length documentary, Rising & Falling on the Great Salt Lake, providing a comprehensive exploration of the Great Salt Lake. This project required an integrated approach to deep research, cinematic film production, and vivid storytelling to explore the lake’s rich history and its current environmental decline. From analyzing dust pollutants and air quality to documenting bird migration and the local brine shrimp economy, the film delves into the complex ecosystem of the Wasatch Front. By uniting expert interviews with compelling, high-end visuals and on-the-ground footage, we helped the DNR communicate the urgent need for sustainable management through a strategic creative lens.
